Once you've submitted all the necessary details and photos for your listing and completed the payment, we aim to have your property live on realestate.com.au, domain.com.au and other platforms within about 24-48 business hours. We do take a moment to review each submission to make sure everything meets the platform requirements. If we need to fine-tune anything to get it just right, it might take a couple of extra days, but we will work closely with you to get your property live as smoothly as possible. You will receive an email confirmation the moment your listing is active!
Once your property is live and attracting interest, you will naturally start receiving inquiries. For open inspections, simply choose a time and date that works well for you and advertise it clearly on your listing. Beforehand, a little decluttering, a good clean, a subtle, fresh scent, and some soft, ambient music may enhance how welcoming and appealing your home feels to visitors. During the inspection, being there to answer questions and point out your property's best features is always a good idea. For private viewings, you'll arrange a mutually agreeable time directly with interested buyers. We suggest requesting the potential buyers for a photo ID before inspection. Our platform is designed to help you manage all these inquiries and schedule viewings efficiently.
Getting those inquiries from potential buyers is exciting, and we have made it simple for you! All inquiries will be sent directly to your nominated email address and/or phone number, just as you have set it up in your listing. These details are also saved on your Listed By Owner dashboard by default. We believe in direct communication, so we don't act as a middleman for these inquiries; it is straight from the interested purchaser to you, giving you full control.
Getting your property noticed by the right buyers is something we want to help you with. When it comes to presentation, excellent photos make all the difference. While professional photos truly shine, we understand that good quality, well-lit pictures from your phone can also do a wonderful job. Alongside great visuals, a detailed and thoughtful description of your property is incredibly important. Consider what you'd want to know if you were buying; for example, if your home has dual entry points, it is worth mentioning! This kind of detail can really appeal to different buyers, like investors thinking about dual rental income, or families who might appreciate separate living areas.
When it comes to pricing, we encourage you to use the free appraisal that comes with your package. It's a fantastic starting point, giving you a real sense of what homes are selling for right now in your suburb. Supplementing that with a bit of your own research into recent sales of similar properties in your neighbourhood can help you feel confident in setting a competitive and attractive price. We're here to provide you with the tools you need to make your sale a success.
